Paul Worley

Pastor

Pastor Worley was saved while attending Beulah Beach Youth Camp. He later surrendered to full-time service while working at another youth camp, the Living Hope Ranch, near Fremont, Indiana. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in Bible college for his training for the ministry. There, he met his wife, Tracey, and the two were married in 1985. Upon completion of his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in pastoral theology, he and his wife went to serve in Kentucky, at the Bible Baptist Church. It was there that he recognized God’s call on his life to be a pastor. From Kentucky they moved to Ohio, to teach in a Christian school for two years. During that time he met with his pastor on a weekly basis for personal, one-on-one training for the pastorate. In 1989, he became the pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in Missouri. In 1995, God called him to the Lewis Avenue Baptist Church to serve as an Assistant Pastor and start a ministry to senior citizens. Then, in 2004, God called him to become the pastor of the Freedom Baptist Church. We thank the Lord for Pastor Worley and his family. His love for his Lord is very evident and overflows into his preaching causing our hearts to be blessed. Pastor Worley has a passion for souls and a desire to help God’s people be all they can be for the Lord.

Dan Worley

Youth Pastor

Our Assistant Pastor Dan Worley was privileged to grow up in a Christian home and received Jesus as his Savior at a young age. His family started attending the Lewis Avenue Baptist Church when he was 6 years old, and it was there, during his teenage years, he surrendered his life to full-time Christian service. Upon graduating from high school, he attended Bible college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Theology. A few months after graduation, he and his wife, Jennifer, were married, and soon began teaching at a Christian school in a suburb of Chicago. Dan also served as the Bus Director in the church. In 2007, he accepted the assistant pastor position of our church as the youth pastor and is now also the music director.

Wayne Fincher

Military Pastor

Wayne Fincher was saved while attending a church service at Bethel Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington, near Ft. Lewis where he was stationed, in June of 2000. Upon graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Army where he served for 20 years until he retired in June 2011. While stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC, the Lord led his family to our church in 2007. He and his wife immediately dove right in and began soul winning and serving where ever they were needed. It was here he felt the Lord was calling him into full-time Christian service. After surrendering to do God’s will for his life, he began to work online to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Theology through Baptist College of America. In 2012, he completed the necessary requirements to earn his diploma. In 2011, after his retirement from the military, he accepted the position of assistant pastor, overseeing our military ministry.
